This move is witnessed just days after the famous Swiss luxury watchmaker, Hublot, successfully integrated the crypto to sell more than 200[210 to be specific] of its luxury watch edition. A single sports watch of the limited themed Bitcoin-themed went for $25,000, making the whole venture record a high revenue of $5.25 million. These sales were purely done using the cryptocurrency. Apart from buying their tickets using BTC, Ellenbogen further stated that the visitors would also be able to visit the NASA – National Aeronautics and Space Administration at the Glenn Visitor Center. There is a newly launched mobile application that uses both virtual and augmented reality to offer a new experience to the visitors.
3rd US Museum To Accept Cryptocurrency
Great Lakes Science Center is not the first museum in history to accept Bitcoin as a way of payments. The Great Lakes Science Center is the third museum in the United States to accept Bitcoin as a method of payment. The Museum of Coastal Bend first integrated the crypto in 2013, and at that time, the management was so skeptical that even a single person would prefer using the altcoin. The museum spokesperson expressed his happy as being the first museum to try the new technology in the whole US.
But now five years down the line, Bitcoin has grown to become one of the greatest stores of value, with more $110 billion stored in it. Established institutions like the New York Stock Exchange, Nasdaq, Fidelity, and ICE.
